TLDR: Over priced home that is not worth your time or money. There isnt a place for me to begin. Just know if there are this many bad reviews.. There is probably an issue. There is currently a bucket in the middle of my kitchen right now. Im moving out after one year and let me tell you. Im more than relieved. Balfourd Beatty is commercail housing that does not care that you are millitary at all. I'm a Mil to Mil SrA and we pay 1600+. for a 2 bedroom town house. They Are quick to take your money and when it comes to providing anything, I assure you it will take forever. The bucket has been in the middle of my kitchen for 2 weeks and I've called multiple times,

Man don't ever try to live here. This place is ridiculous! Roaches, ants, fleas, wasps, you name it, you got it here. These houses are not taken care of after people move out of them. Pest control is non-existent, maintainence is half-ass to none. One thing I haven't seen in reviews is how terrible the roads are. Some of the worst roads I've been on. There is one positive thing I've got to say about the base housing here, and it's the fact that you can keep the difference from the rent and your BAH, but it's not worth it in the slightest sense, if you're about to PCS here, please save yourself the trouble and don't live here.

This housing management office is the worst yet. First home I moved into I had a problem with my AC and they told me to get a window unit. They didn't even clean the floors before I moved in and it smelled of dog, disgusting! I complained 3 times before they actually cleaned the carpets. I decided to move from main base to medina. That house was problems within itself. Again, I had a problem with my AC and it was out for 3 days. They brought a portable AC in and told me it would take a few days because the thermostat in my house didn't read over 85 and also because it wasn't over 85 degrees outside at the time I called. Heat index was 92+ degrees the next few days and I was pregnant and I have a 2 year old. It took the maintenance managers to come by because Theresa didn't place it in the system so we were sweating bullets for two days for no reason. Then I moved to a 3 bedroom and they lost my paperwork. I was upset because it had my social and personal information on it and the lady in the BBC housing attachment office on main base hung the phone up on me several times and was COMPLETELY disrespectful towards me. I refused to do business with her and she stated I didn't have a choice and I HAD to speak to her and not her manager. I did report her after she misconstrued the whole situation to the Medina base office. Upon my final out from my 2 bedroom I was told to pay 235 dollars for carpet replacement. I kept looking down the road for the whole three months I was on maternity leave and it was never replaced. I called the office and they stated I was right, they never had a vendor come out to replace it and had already moved a family in so I was reimbursed. Then, while I was in my 3 bedroom, my hot water heater began to leak. They came out to "fix" it three times. It wasn't fixed and it soaked through the wall all the way to the kitchen and there was mold everywhere. Again, Theresa did NOT place any of the 3 calls into the system so they were trying to blame me but my mother was my witness. They placed us in their model home but never told us to bring blankets, pots and pans or dishes. All of those had to be bought and they had dirty dishes in the dish washer, gross. They offered to move us to a new home on main base but stated I would have to pay for the move, not them since it is THEIR fault for the mold because of their no attentive mechanics and their horrible maintenance secretary. I had 6 hornets nests above my front walkway and I had to call 3 times before they knocked them down. I have had a big problem since I moved in and I kept calling for them to spray when I got fed up and decided to buy my own bug spray, which works better than what they have. Would I advise anyone to move on base? Read my response above and if that doesn't convince you then I wish you the best of luck.
