  My experience with john included Poor communication skills and he tried to make things convenient for himself at MY EXPENSE! Hes been working as a lawyer for years yes, ........ in everthing from Estate Planning and Probate and Estate Administration and Real Estate Litigation.......blah blah blah but John A. Mead is not just a family law attorney. He is NOT even Certified by The Texas Board of Legal Specialization in FAMILY LAW. Get a FAMILY LAW SPECIALIST!!!! Would you hire a HANDYMAN to DESIGN and build your new home? To install your plumbing, wire your electricity, install your heating and air conditioning and put a roof over your head? Thats what is being built here. Your house. YOUR LIFE. The house your children will live in until they are 18 years old. Your schedule, your holidays, your income, pick ups and drop offs, how much time you get to spend with your kids, even where you are allowed to live, etc. I mean everything. When its over you will be handed a document that governs everything you can imagine and much more that you never thought of. If something is left out and needs to be changed get your check book out. Guess who you have to pay to fix it? The same guy that failed you the first time. Get someone who deals ONLY in family law. Someone who is not juggling a bunch of whatever falls in their lap. Jack of all trades, is a master at none! Good luck, your gonna need it!

  Mr. Mead knows his stuff and explain my option in term I could understand. Very professional yet down to earth. Recommended as a lawyer for lawyers.

  Horrible office staff turn over. Your case information gets lost in this turn over and what the assistant was working on never gets finished cause the new one has to start it all over again. Takes years to finish a case. Unable to get results and definately not in a timely manor. If settling your case quickly is priority to you. Dont hire this attorney.
