  This firm is the best at resolving traffic tickets. My ticket attorney was Justin Coquat and he really fought hard to keep my ticket off my record. His staff is really friendly and kept me informed every step along the way...thanks Christina! I couldn't have done it alone, the judge was pissed. The process was intimidating and intense, but Justin stayed calm the entire time - he dresses pretty well, too. Highly recommended for traffic ticket defense in San Antonio...he kept my ticket off my record and can probably do the same for you. Thanks!

  I went with Coquat Law for a traffic ticket. They have decent pricing, pretty good communication and customer service. They did make an effort to dismiss my case but unfortunately it still went to deferred disposition(for the next 90 days I have to avoid getting any ticket and the ticket will then be dismissed) and I had to pay most of my fine which was a disappointing result. I found out from the court clerk after talking to them on the phone that you can do a deferred disposition completely on your own and don't even have to have a lawyer or a pre-trail hearing where you stand in front of a judge. Everything can be done through the clerk put you have to pay the full fine. I also found out that in some cases(maybe just in Austin) they allow you to take driving safety course twice in one year. I should have done more investigation which is partially my fault. My advice to anyone is to explore your options by talking directly to Court through the phone to see if you can keep the ticket off your record and minimize lawyer costs by going through a safety driving course or deferred disposition if you know your ticket most likely won't be dismissed. If you know there's good chance it will be dismissed then go through a lawyer like Coquat but know that to go to full trail it will cost extra.
