- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The classes are small & Instructors are great. The hands on clinicals are fun & informative but its not worth going into debt over. They offer career placement but the places I was referred to barely paid minimum wage. I did NOT go to school to make less than what I make with no schooling. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Do your research before you look into their electrical program it is a scam their program does not qualify you to do anything, yes you learn things but to become a journeyman electrician you need to be an apprentice. To become an apprentice you take a test at South Texas JATC in San Antonio and they will find you a job through the union as an apprentice without taking the nine-month course that cost $15,000 and gets you nowhere.By Connor Cullen, March 14, 2017
