  Worst experience ever! I've been a member for many years now. I had intended to make a transfer from my external savings account to my NFCU checking account. Unfortunately, i made the error of inputting the "to" and "from" accounts backwards which is completely my fault. After catching the error, I immediately called NFCU and the said I needed to do a "stop payment" in order to prevent the money from leaving my NFCU checking account... I agreed. Two days later, I log in to my checking account and to my surprise, the founds had been transferred. I called NFCU 1-888 number to find out the reason why this happened since I had put a stop payment on the transfer and they had charged me the $20 fee. ASHLEY (who was the representative on the phone) looked into my account and said somehow the stopped payment had worked and my money was going to be in my account by noon. The problems I have are as follows: 1. I paid the extra $20 to have the stop payment because I needed those funds for a big purchase I was planning to execute this morning but this had to be cancelled due to insufficient funds in my account. 2. When I requested at least for the $20 to be refunded back to my account, ASHLEY's reply was that this was impossible. 3. ASHLEY was completely rude and unprofessional, she not only had a major attitude but told me to "not make any future transfers" not regarding what was going on at the moment, but in general, when I had not asked for her advise nor she had the right to tell me how to manage my own accounts. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.
